Liturgy & Worship

The last few years has thrown most of what we know about liturgy and worship right out the window. These workshops, resources, and recordings can help us all explore new ideas, expand our practices, and stay within the canonical requirements.

Body Music Workshop

Led by body percussionist and dancer Keith Terry on Thursday, November 19, 2020, from 5 to 6 pm.

The notes from the lesson along with a glossary of terms and links can be found HERE.

Pandemic worship doesn’t need to be passive. Let’s get Episcopalians thinking about clapping, snapping, and stepping as a safe and creative way to make a joyful noise.

Using the Body to Pray

Led by Choreographer Carla DeSola on Wednesday, December 2, 2020, from 5 to 6 pm.

Wether we’re worshipping together in person or together online, there are ways we can use movement, dance, and our bodies to pray (especially when county guidelines recommend we don’t sing together).
