Training in Whole & Healthy Church Policy and The Safe Church, Safe Communities program is available both online and in-person.
Currently all adults who work with youth, children, or vulnerable adults, keyholders, employees, vestries, and volunteer leaders should complete a background check every five years. There is a small cost for each check.
In 2018 the Episcopal Church approved two sets of model policies for use by our congregations and dioceses. Both were used as guidelines for Whole & Healthy Church
In mid-2021 the online Safe Church training program made a system switch to Praesidium Academy.
